TechnoWolf Banner CROPPED

Hey everyone, it's TechnoWolf. I needed a place at MCL to post about things which are important to me and may or may not have anything to do with Minecraft, or even gaming for that matter. So I give you, "TechnoWolf's Corner"! Many of you know how important my relationship with God is to me, so naturally I'm starting this off with that.

Here is a transcript of a message I had sent to an old friend of mine some time ago, who was seeking very real answers to her very real questions. I hope this information blesses you in some way!

Question: "I get an angel turned evil - but why would evil come out of God??”

My reply to her question:
I get totally what you mean. I have pondered the deep concepts of this much. Scripture can help us understand.
God is perfect. God is good. God has NO part of evil whatsoever. It is counter to His nature and very being. This is why He cannot accept evil, and why He needed an answer to save man, whom He dearly loves. If he cannot accept evil, and man is evil, how can he love us, yet He does! How is that possible then??
Lucifer, now Satan was once among the highest of angels, among the most powerful in Heaven. Satan caused the problem of evil (we’ll get back to that). Now you have a real problem. The evil he produced matched his power in heaven as an angel. This is a mighty problem. So, the solution must be more powerful than Satan himself to work. Who is more powerful in Heaven than Satan? God himself! By leaps and bounds. No match whatsoever. Good news because God is 3! Christ is part of God, but retains His own being at the same time. His own free will, His own character and His own personality. God needed someone perfect, far more powerful than Satan, who is separate from Him in the sense of having individualism, has their own free will to go and sacrifice themselves to literally pay the evil which He cannot accept, in order to be able to justify (redeem) man to be acceptable to Him again.
But there’s a problem, free will. So God sends Jesus as that perfect sacrifice, paying for our sins via sacrifice of Himself for us. At no point while Jesus was here did he NOT have free will. He could have decided not to do it, and therefore disobey God’s wishes. It would have been very uncool for Christ to disobey God, but ultimately, there was nothing stopping Him from disobeying God if He chose to do so. Satan was fully aware of this fact, which is why Satan approached Jesus here (on Earth)and said:
Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Mat 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
Mat 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mat 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mat 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mat 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Is this more clear? It’s key important to know that Jesus had the free will here to agree with Satan. But He didn’t. NOTHING happens in this world without God allowing it to happen. NOTHING. So, why would God allow Jesus to be tempted like that? It must have really been enticing. The answer is that God needed Christ to on His own, without God butting in, make a choice to continue to serve the Father, and carry through His plan of sacrifice for man’s redemption. We can be exceedingly glad that Jesus chose to Love God, and obey the Father!!!! Without Christ’s independent and willing sacrifice for us, we’d all be dead and go to hell forever! This highlights the critical importance and power of free will. By design, Love IS free will, among many other beautiful things. Remember God is love. Love cannot be forced. You cannot make someone love you, it is against the nature of true love, therefore against the nature of God. So, he can’t force love and respect, only judge what is against Him. But He doesn’t want to HAVE to judge us, because He knows that means sending us to eternal damnation, and He loves us too much to do that. He needed the answer of Christ to save man, and to stay God because He could not change His nature or go against Himself in order to do anything. The sin HAD to be paid for somehow. Christ is that payment. It required a willful sacrifice of someone more powerful than Satan, more powerful than the sin being paid for so that that someone could survive it’s payment, and still live! “On the third day, Jesus ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of power and glory”. AMEN!!! Praise God! It worked! But free will is still a factor among men. Christ made it successfully through free will, but men still sin. We have free will too. Therefore, the formula is that in order to get to Heaven, we, of our free will, must follow Christ as that (complex but simple) answer as the way, the truth, the life unto salvation which God so painstakingly provided for us. Not all will accept that gift though, because of free will. Many go to their graves and with their last breaths denying that answer. That one known as Jesus Christ. Now, on the question of why evil ever existed at all:
Heaven is currently clean of all evil. Evil began and originated in Lucifer, now Satan. He convinced numerous other lesser angels to follow his sin. They were all cast out of heaven and into the Earth, where they are currently. Not in hell yet. This is why Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the earth, because he COULD. For once, Satan spoke the truth at least in regard to being able to offer Christ reign over Earth’s kingdoms. Kingdoms of men, countries and governments. Earthly monarchies and such. God needed that temptation to be real to “test” Christ’s free will, for the freewill of love to continue to complete the circle of love and salvation for man. Make more sense? This is deep stuff here, I know.
Every being, angel, man, woman, human now in Heaven are there of there own free will to love and be with God. We choose the answer of Christ through faith and through love of the truth and love of God. We can easily choose to not do so. I am a Christian because I WANT to be. This is how I know I’m saved. I believe, I love Him, I want to do my best to follow, I seek Him often. I still sin, yes, but I keep on keeping on. Paul said:
Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
No one has a gun to my head to stay a Christian. But there are often guns to heads to follow evil, aren’t there? I can’t stop following Jesus (I may still stumble and sin though) in the ultimate sense because I have already seen the truth. I now know better. This is why it is written:
Luk 9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
Luk 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
I say that I cannot stop following Jesus in order to bring glory to myself, but rather to bring glory to God as evidence of His truth and mighty power to save. If He can save me, a very wretched sinner, guilty of the worst and most punishing death, He can surely save any!
Jesus was saying to this man in his particular situation, considering Jesus was physically there, directly asking for this man to follow Him right now, if other things are more important to you than Me, you really must not understand. He obviously had not yet found saving faith. Especially considering Jesus was RIGHT THERE in the flesh!!! What a HUGE honor to have been physically there to see Him and speak to Him literally in person!! I got a bit off subject of why there’s evil, but it was a good subject. Back to evil. Remembering that God has NO part of evil and cannot accept any, and remembering that Satan was the origination point of iniquity, of sin, of evil, and remembering that every being has free will because of love’s design, Lucifer became jealous that God would put men above angels, that man was going to be created in God’s own image. Lucifer liked being at the top of the heap, under the trinity of the Godhead and having all of the authority God granted him in Heaven. This grew further into an endless and ever-increasing evil. I don’t know why this happened. I don’t believe any human being truly does. God created Lucifer to be perfect. No evil therein. God is omnicient, so He knew what would happen. It happened out of Lucifer’s free will, and it DID NOT come from God or the way in which he created Lucifer, I know that much as fact, but where did it come from? Why? This cannot be answered. Remember God says not to seek to understand evil? Amen. We must accept what God says on the subject because our finite earthly minds can never fully comprehend evil anyway, and seeking on evil can in itself corrupt!
